Coast Without the Cliché
A Gold Coast coastal native garden with personality — sculptural Australian natives, Cor-Ten edging, and a slim bottle brush feature tree, built around a renovation to match the architecture rather than the default white-coastal palette.

The brief
A Coastal Garden with Personality — Not the Standard White-Coastal Default
Referred in by the builder mid-renovation. The brief was a coastal aesthetic, but the client wanted personality in it — not the generic native scheme. The palette leans on sculptural Australian natives that handle salt air and sandy soils: kangaroo paws for vertical colour, a slim-form bottle brush as the feature tree, and burgundy ground-level interest around the entry.
Cor-Ten edging, curved garden lines, and stonework tie the planting back into the renovation’s hard finishes. The result is a coastal garden with character to match the house — not a coastal garden trying to look like every other coastal garden.
What a Master Plan looks like
Indicative Master Plan deliverable — 3D site model and quantified materials schedule
Two pages from our canonical Master Plan sample, illustrative of the MP-tier output: an annotated 3D site model (left) and a quantified materials schedule with supplier references (right). Each MP project is tailored to the site — the structure and depth carry across.

From renovation site to planted garden
Referred in mid-build — hard finishes going in, no garden plan. Below: four shots before landscape, then six from across the install. Optional design supervision available on-site (Habitat is design-only; supervision is an add-on, not included).

How Much Does Landscape Design Cost?
A clear design means everyone’s working from the same vision — you get comparable quotes, confident decisions, and a result that looks like it was always meant to be there.
Most clients start with Concept + Planting. Opt for Concept + Master Plan when the build needs full setout, materials schedule, services intent and 3D renders.
